Microchip Technology has entered a strategic partnership with Delta Electronics, a global leader in power management and electronics. The agreement focuses on developing silicon carbide (SiC)-based solutions for key applications driving energy transition and digitalization.
SiC is the reference material for next-generation power devices, offering higher efficiency, smaller size, and better thermal management compared to traditional silicon.
Through this collaboration, Microchip and Delta aim to leverage these properties to accelerate the development of more compact, reliable, and energy-efficient systems across strategic sectors.
